From the walkout to the knockout, EA SPORTS UFC 2 promises its fans an exhilarating and revolutionary fighting experience – and it doesn't disappoint. With five new game modes and improvements to existing features, EA SPORTS UFC 2 delivers an authentic environment for both gamers and UFC fans alike.

Whether you channel your inner Dana White and create your dream card in the Custom Fight Creator, build a team of champions in UFC Ultimate Team, climb the ladder in a revamped Career Mode, chase the title in Online Championships or predict and win rewards of real-life match-ups in Live Events – this is your fight to finish, your way.

If you are a beginner - don't fear, EA SPORTS UFC 2 will be in your corner to train you how to fight like a pro.

"A mode that a lot of people will really enjoy is the Knockout mode," says EA SPORTS Creative Director Brian Hayes. "It's so quick and easy to get into, it's very accessible to play because it's stand-up fighting only and the knockout physics look quite spectacular. Every knockout is now unique, and finishing the fight has never been more satisfying."

He's not wrong. The next-gen graphics engine is remarkable and the stunning character likeness and animation, combined with an innovative Knockout Physics System, makes for a truly authentic experience.

"Conor McGregor cannot knock out everybody in 13 seconds and it is possible to escape Ronda Rousey's armbar but visually and in relation to their in-game move sets, it is extremely realistic," adds Hayes.

For the first time ever in a UFC game, there is the option to create a female fighter, and Hayes is quick to pay tribute to one of the game's cover stars, Ronda Rousey.

"When we started development on UFC 1, there were no women fighters," admits Hayes. "But four years later, the biggest story in sport was the result of a women's UFC fight - that was largely down to what Rousey accomplished. She's a huge superstar and an inspiration."

EA SPORTS has also taken crucial steps to bring the ground game to an exciting new level with its new dynamic grappling system, which allows for simultaneous two-fighter interaction.

"For the first time, players can do things independently and at the same time as each other, making the gameplay more fluid and fun. The fight can constantly be moving in different ways," says Hayes.

With this in mind, we are confident EA SPORTS UFC 2 will land a knockout blow when it hits the UK market on 17 March 2016.
